Interesting. Two observations: First, the LS3 is a corporate V8 and not a true Pontiac-built engine (it's still a fine engine). Most Pontiac-built V8s had a redline between 6000-6500, including the Super Dutys and HO motors. Second, the highest revving Pontiac-built engine is the OHC 6 with a red line of 6700 for the 4-bbl version. -
If you are talking about the Sycrause Nationals, a buddy of mine is volunteer at the show. Big older gent, straw hat, fu man chu mustahce. Drives a green '51 Ford with ghost flames. Welcome to FP!
