What are your favorite type of roads to drive?

I love some slight bends and some scenery.

In a fast car or competing with a buddy - Long straights with no one around, especially cops. No stop signs or lights

On my bike - a nice variety of curves and straights with few stops

Cruiser - scenery and slow

Also a big fan of tunnels

Depends on what mode of transportation.... I love red light digs but after 60 I'd rather be hugging the corners

We've been in the area a few times and rented mountain homes around Pigeon Forge, a must for sports car fans/speed freaks...

Agreed - Smoky Mountain National Park is awesome - so is the Blue Ridge Parkway and darn near anywhere in Appalachia or New England in the fall. Northern Lower Michigan or the Upper Peninsula is great fall driving too.

I took the picture from an overpass on Corridor H (RT.55) in Hardy County. You are looking down and north at Scaggs Run and running parallel to it is Upper Skaggs Run Rd.

I had planned to, but ran out of time this past weekend. However, if things work out for me this coming weekend, I plan to take many pictures. The leaves will be a little past (last week was the peak around here), but still ok.

Had a blast shootin my color shots with both cars. Attracted much attention and even had people getting out of their cars taking shots over my shoulder with their cell phones. Look forward to seeing some new shots of your black beauty.

In some seriousness, I'd think you'd like the Rod Run and Doo Wop in Charleston. They have a poker run that runs up Route 60 and ends at the New River Gorge Bridge.
