Whats your favorite car from the year you were born?

This was alot harder than I thought it would be. :P

1971

Camaro Z/28: I love the big grill and the split bumper.

Monte Carlo SS: 2nd year for the car and the first year for the SS and the long hood.

Trans Am: I love the frontend & hood but the white and blue color sceam is just sexy

Chevelle SS: come on its an icon.

Corvette vert: come on its a vett what true GM head dosent love the vetts. lol

Oldsmobile 442: that hood is just mean.

Chevy stepside: I love the stepsides.

Chevy Blazer: with the lift off back/vert set up.

Cadillac Eldorado Convertible: Mr Big & Sexy himself. lol

The more you think about it the harder it gets and thats only the GM stuff. (the stuff that only matters to me atleast lol)

Drum roll please........ th_drumroll.gifth_drumroll.gifth_drumroll.gif

:dancingpontiac:

Camaro Z/28 with the split bumper option, 3 peice spoiler, 15 x 7 steel wheels painted dull grey rims and rally stripes. I would go with Nevada Silver with Tuxedo Black rally stripes and black pleather.

1976 Chevrolet Monte Carlo

I love how 2/3's of the car is the hood. (or at least 1/2 the car) GM is the ones that came out with that style trend of the 70's. Great choice of a car with a lot of style notallthere. :P

:( My era of cars sucked. Only the music was good.

I really like the 92-96 Ford trucks too, I drive a 94 F350 for my daily work truck.

Mom and Dad had a 1975 model from 1977 to 1984. Smooth car but for its size could go around a corner.

Thanks Ringo.

I hate to point out that the photo is from a 57 or 58 Caddy. The 59-60 fins were even taller and more elegant....me thinks anyway.

The fins on a 1960 Plymouth are way bigger then the 59-60 Cadillac.

There was not hard top convertible for Ford in 1960 sadly, 59 was the last rear of the retractable. (But the wild look of the 60 with that top works well)

I used to have a 60 LeSabre, sold it to a buddy 2 years ago... hope he does something with it.

Yup...that would be the one. Gorgeous aren't they?

LN7_Nut - I've heard that said, but even though I live near the Chrysler Museum ,and all things Mother Mopar, here in SE Michigan, I can not honestly say I have seen one for myself to be certain. Still the Savoy and Fury had some great fins and body lines, but the front ends do nothing for me. I think the Savoy just keep getting uglier as the 60s wore on.

the Caddi fins are longer front to back, but the Plymouths are taller.

But regardless, I love fins, I miss the fins on my 60 Buick, dad had a 56 and a 57 Caddi when I was a kid, fins make the whole car more appealing to me!
